I have always had trouble shaving more than twice a week due to a combination of sensitive skin and a coarse beard. In the past, I always used expensive electric shavers, but with the advances of blade technology in razors, I started to wet shave again a few years ago. It was a massive improvement, but I was still having to be careful not to shave too often due to sensitivity.

I spoke to LouLoubelle, at a beauty show my wife had dragged me along to, about mens skin care and discussed my shaving dilemma. I left my details and a few weeks later received some shaving lotion in the post with instructions on how to apply. It really did the trick.

I apply and rub the lotion in and leave it for about 30 mins, it softens the beard and seems to make the hairs spring up. Then shave as usual. In my case it speeds up shaving and leads to a closer, smoother finish. I don’t find shaving such a chore any more.

Another thing I’d like to add is that I have tried other more expensive lotions in the past. This one works for me and I can’t recommend LouLouBelle shaving lotion enough.
